You may use thetimbertale.ro for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms.
All prices displayed on the website are in Romanian LEI (RON) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
Product descriptions, photos and specifications are provided in good faith and are as accurate as possible. For made-to-order and custom items, the final product may vary slightly from rendered concepts — variations inherent to handcrafted work are not considered defects.
An order placed on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order (e.g., due to stock unavailability or pricing errors), in which case you will be fully refunded.
For custom orders, the contract is formed when you approve the design concept and pay the 30% deposit.
We accept card payments via Netopia Payments, bank transfer, and cash on delivery (under 500 RON, Brașov area only). TimberCoins may be applied as a discount at checkout. Full payment (or the remaining 70% for custom orders) is due before or upon delivery.
We aim to deliver in-stock items within 2–5 working days. Custom and made-to-order furniture may take 3–8 weeks from deposit confirmation. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners or force majeure events.
Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details. As a Romanian consumer, your statutory rights under OUG nr. 34/2014 apply and are not limited by these Terms.
Member accounts are personal and non-transferable. TimberCoins have no cash value outside of our platform discount system. Referral earnings are subject to the tier structure described on the Member page and may be subject to change for new members (existing members retain their agreed rate).
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the referral system or engage in fraudulent activity. Fraudulently earned TimberCoins or referral earnings will be voided.
We reserve the right to modify the TimberCoins and referral program with 30 days' notice to active members.
The Community platform enables verified organisations and individuals to submit furniture needs for public support. Submitting a project does not guarantee funding or production. The Timber Tale reserves the right to approve, reject or remove any project submission at its discretion.
Users submitting projects warrant that all information provided is truthful and that they have the authority to represent the organisation or individual named in the submission.
All content on thetimbertale.ro — including text, photos, designs, graphics, product descriptions and the website code — is the property of The Timber Tale S.R.L. or used under licence. You may not reproduce, copy or distribute any content without prior written permission.
By submitting photos, designs or content to us (e.g., for custom orders or community projects), you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use that content for the purposes of fulfilling your order or project.
To the maximum extent permitted by Romanian law, The Timber Tale S.R.L. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the website or products. Our total liability in any matter related to a purchase shall not exceed the value of that purchase.
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Brașov, Romania. For consumer disputes, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with the date of last update. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
